What is this position about?
You will be working with a diverse team composed of talented Engineers immersed in the area of private investment banking.
We are looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of React and Next.js with expertise in building intuitive user interfaces. The primary focus of this role is to develop a UI for the client’s internal platform that resembles a sophisticated chatbot interface. The candidate will be responsible for continuing current developments, resolving bugs, and making the platform extensible to other teams by building plugins. You'll encounter a range of challenges and will be encouraged to foster creative ideas within a dynamic work setting.
You may work 100% remotely if you are currently living in LATAM, or you can always join us at the office!
Job Description
Design and develop user interfaces for the client’s internal platform, ensuring a modern and user-friendly experience.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement UI features and enhancements.
Solve complex technical challenges related to UI development and integration with backend services.
Extend the platform's capabilities by developing plugins and creating reusable components.
Provide guidance and technical leadership in shaping the future direction of the platform.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the team's technical expertise.
Create code snippets and examples to facilitate rapid development by other internal teams.
Qualifications
Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
Expertise in React.js and proficient in Next.js for server-side rendering and API integration.
Strong understanding of AWS services, with knowledge of Kubernetes being a plus.
Experience in designing and developing scalable, modular frontend architectures.
Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
What about languages?
You will need excellent written and verbal English for clear and effective communication with the team.
How much experience must I have?
In order to thrive in this role, you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer working with React and Next.js.
