When we started in 2014, our focus was on product managers in smaller teams who lacked a great product management tool. Today, we are the leading product management platform. We now help much larger companies with thousands of employees, and we deal with quite different needs and personas.

We're facing a huge architectural shift in terms of how we scale our product. To meet the growing demands of the enterprise market, we’re in an ongoing redesign of our systems. The aim is to make both the user experience and underlying system work at large scale — considering performance, flexibility and seamless access management

About the team

We help improve the velocity and productivity of product teams by creating, maintaining, improving, and integrating the ecosystem of development tools and software development and quality assurance frameworks to solve common engineering and product needs at Productboard.

We follow product management best practices to collect feedback and prioritize our roadmap to ensure we always work on the most impactful initiatives.

On a typical day, you would …

  • Keep lights on our CI pipelines
  • Improve our monorepo tooling
  • Communicate with our engineers to improve their day-to-day life
  • Push new standards and improve code quality

Our Tech Stack

You’ll work with the following frameworks, tools, and languages:

  • Frontend: TypeScript, React.js, React Native
  • Backend: TypeScript/Node.js, Ruby, Kotlin, Kafka
  • Storage: Postgres, Elastic, Redis
  • Data Pipeline: Python, Keboola, Looker, Snowflake
  • Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform

About you

We’re looking for someone with the following skills and qualities:

  • You are experienced at building web applications and designing architecture that scales
  • You have experience with various frontend frameworks
  • You have an interest in platform and building tools and features for other engineers
  • You are passionate about learning and embracing change
  • You are not tied to a single tech stack and like to learn different technologies
  • You like to fix things when they break
  • You are passionate about knowledge-sharing
  • Your code is clean and well-tested

Bonus points

  • Previous experience working with React/Typescript
  • Previous experience with monorepo tooling
  • Previous experience building complex CI pipelines
  • Previous experience with CLI tooling
  • Previous experience with Kotlin, Go, Kubernetes
