What You'll Do
Define territory sales goals with leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure and hiring to attain goals and quotasHire, lead and mentor your team through weekly 1:1 and coaching to strategize and accurately forecast to upper managementCollaborate with our Revenue Operations, Customer Success, ADR, Channel team and Marketing teams to optimize sales and customer satisfactionBuild strategies and develop materials vital to accelerate customer acquisitionNurture lasting business relationships with customers through consultative sales tactics and effective account management practicesUse CRM to maintain excellent records and report on activity and critical metricsUnderstand and internalize the Red Canary mission and vision and translate them into a Sales strategyParticipate in regular leadership meetings to share progress, identify blockers and drive resolutionActively participate in customer on-site, calls, and any other assistance your team needs in getting deals closedReport on sales metrics and forecast to senior sales managementDeliver accurate forecasts that exemplify tight control of the top deals and provide organizational discipline and rigorEmpower Individuals and team to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship
What You'll Bring
Must be located in CA, WA, OR, NV, or AZ9+ years closing experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in the information security industry3+ years experience managing, hiring, mentoring and training field sales teamProven sales track record with strong focus on new customersExcellent communication, high business savviness, organizational and time management skillsRobust CRM analysis and reporting and forecasting skills (salesforce preferred)Experience with building, leading and guiding Sales teams towards set goals with ability to provide and receive feedback professionallyStrategic problem solver with the ability to complete both short-term and long-term sales plansStrong planning, writing, presentation and communication skillsGrowth mindset with the ability to learn, adapt and improve constantlyStrong interpersonal skills and willingness to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere
Base salary for this role is $174,394 - $192,500 per year, plus commission for total estimated on-target earnings of $348,788- $385,000. This role is eligible for a grant of stock options, subject to the approval of the company's board of directors. Application deadline is April 8, 2025.
