The Senior Director/Director, Pricing is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability. This role requires a deep understanding of Xometry’s revenue and profitability targets, market dynamics, customer segmentation, and competitive landscapes. The ideal candidate will be commercially-focused, possess strong analytical skills, have a data-driven mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies aligned with overall business priorities to maximize long term gross profit growth.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify pricing opportunities and optimize revenue generation.
- Analyze customer segmentation and pricing elasticity to determine optimal pricing structures.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations and product development teams to drive alignment on the execution of pricing strategies.
- Monitor and analyze pricing performance and make necessary adjustments.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive pricing practices.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in pricing strategy, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in application of data analysis and statistical modeling to financial forecasts and business cases.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of pricing software, tools and the application of AI/ML.
