The Team:
You’ll be part of a distributed team across Europe & the US, who leverage cloud-managed database offerings, such as a PostgreSQL fleet, to manage our meta-data.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced infrastructure engineer to build the next generation of our infrastructure and help it scale with the growth of Celonis. This role has large growth potential and is ideal for inventive self-starters who like to think out of the box.
The work you’ll do:
- Design and develop infrastructure projects related to meta-data.
- Build automation for deployment, monitoring, and usage of database products.
- Mentor junior engineers.
Example projects include:
- An audited, secure, throttled self-service query store developers can use on production systems.
- Automated monitoring and alerting of the entire Postgres fleet.
- Infrastructure-as-code for database, table and monitoring parameters.
The qualifications you need:
- 8+ years of experience building distributed systems.
- 8+ years of experience in Linux and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Experience with RDBMS; PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a similar field; Master’s degree preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Terraform, ArgoCD, Ansible are all a plus.
