The Granicus Experience Group (GXG) is Granicus’ in-house digital agency, a cross-functional team of strategists, analysts, communicators, and Granicus technology experts focused on customer experience and digital communications. GXG is a fast-growing agency at a high-growth tech company, seeking a Senior Data & Insights Consultant to operationalize, analyze and measure performance of outreach within strategic digital communications programs and analyze data to inform decisions, and leading large-scale or program-level projects for clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in reporting on multi-channel outreach and conveying actionable insights and optimization recommendations in a cohesive, customer-friendly manner. Our Senior Data & Insights Consultants digest and analyze data and derive insights, which they build into custom reports and dashboard visualizations, to convey a narrative in line with our customers’ digital communications goals and priorities, applying intuition and experience to lead to actionable recommendations.  
 
Strong candidates are highly strategic, very comfortable with numbers, and able to communicate the narrative that the numbers are showing effectively and calmly, even under deadline pressure and with customers. Candidates should have experience analyzing multi-channel outreach and segment behavior, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on how best to demonstrate results to our customers, and convey actionable insights and optimization recommendations in a cohesive, customer-friendly manner. Candidates must have a desire to be part of a data-driven, customer-focused, fast-paced team that loves the mission of improving the citizen experience and providing world-class service to government customers.

This role will collaborate closely with our experience strategists, communications consultants, platform consultants to assess the effectiveness of our plans over time. 
 
The opportunities to make a difference while working on digital-first initiatives for the public sector are limitless. Projects range from assessing the effectiveness of a rural county’s digital communications initiative, to driving awareness-to-action of a state-wide social services initiative, to growing a large federal agency’s digital audience in a short timeframe, to managing the largest online community to advance national preparedness and resilience. The position reports to the Manager of the Granicus Experience Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly ensure quality assurance of project deliverables including strategies, messaging, reporting, dashboarding and presentations for all client projects. 
  • Mentor and coach practice area members guiding them in their skills development and providing oversight and feedback on their deliverables
  • Work directly with the GXG leadership and market leads, as well as federal, state and local Sales and Client Success teams to scope the inclusion of GXG into new and renewal-based proposals.
  • Lead GXG team members through internal trainings and external opportunities. 
  • Establish and track appropriate utilization metrics for the GXG team members according to guidance from GXG leadership.
  • Strengthen value and efficiency of current GXG offerings 
  • Expand new and custom GXG offerings by incorporating customer feedback, scaling offerings to assure capture in varying budget scenarios, and synergizing with the product groups. 
  • Partner with other teams to improve efficiency of cross-functional delivery. 
  • Support GXG team members and other department resources to manage the scope, timeline, and delivery of project support and deliverables.
  • Oversee supervision of cross functional operations and contractors.
  • Provide expertise as adviser to team members and clients.
  • Develop, grow and manage strategic customer relationships
  • Represent Granicus in speaking roles, panel participation and conferences.  
  • Drive organic growth through a consultative approach with current customers to create demand and identify new business opportunities for GXG services and Granicus products.   
  • Support the creation of success materials, thought-leadership blog posts, case studies, and other media under the direction of GXG leadership and in partnership with Marketing.

  • Security Requirement:

  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.  
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.  

  • Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing analysis preferably in a digital/social agency serving government or at a government agency
  • Be a master of digital-communications tools, including the Granicus family of products, ranging from email marketing, online collaboration, website content management systems, online forms, and social networks to the next new thing
  • Have experience and/or enthusiasm for working with government
  • Consistently lead, produce results and manage scope for simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment with on-time, on-track, and on-budget deliverables 
  • Demonstrate excitement and expertise in developing digital strategies, growing digital audiences, building and facilitating digital experiences
  • Expertly enlist and direct internal stakeholders to help navigate within a client organization
  • Be passionate about public service and digital strategy and communication
  • Appreciate data and enjoy telling stories with data
  • Experience in CRM solutions (SalesForce preferred) and project management software 
  • Thrive on new opportunities and a little bit of chaos
  • Be hungry and passionate, have a collaborative spirit, and be committed to making a difference with communications and collaboration 
  • Possess world-class communication (oral and written) and analytical skills
  • Have an authentic and polished executive level presence
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
  • Prior to the shutdown for the Covid-19 pandemic, GXG staff were expected to be available for on-site customer meetings with our federal, state and local customers. This included travel in some instances. As our customers' expectations and responses to the pandemic continue to evolve, GXG team members may once again be expected to be available for in-person customer meetings.

  • Potential base salary. Does not include bonus OR commission and benefits.
    COMPENSATION RANGE: $85,000-$95,000 USD
