Your Mission 

As a Sr. Cloud Support Engineer - GCP at SADA India, you will be responsible for working directly with customers in providing high-end technical support including remote troubleshooting in Cloud Services. Managing the Cloud infrastructure for a subset of our customers.

As you continue to execute successfully, we will build a customized development plan together that leads you through the engineering or management growth tracks. 

Expectations 

Customer Facing - You will interact with customers on a regular basis. You can expect to interact with a range of customer stakeholders, including engineers, technical project managers, and executives. You will need to escalate issues to Google support, when required, and perform regular follow-ups. 

Work Timings - You should be open to working in 24*7 rotational shifts. 

Job Requirements 

Required Certification(s): 

  • Google’s Associate Cloud Engineer certification or able to complete within the first 60 days of employment.

Required Qualification: 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree

Required Experience:  

  • 5+ years of experience in providing technical support with excellent written and verbal communication skills with at least 2+ years in GCP 
  • Strong knowledge in one or more of the following – Kubernetes, Linux Administration, Networking, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline in GCP/AWS
  • Experience in providing support for Google Cloud Platform products and solutions including, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Stack driver, App Engine, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build, Pub Sub etc. 
  • Strong understanding of access control administration (user accounts, permission models) 
  • Familiarity with networking (NAT, firewalls, basic routing, load balancing, etc.)
  • Familiarity with common Linux troubleshooting tools (vmstat, iostat, lsof, strace, etc.)
  • Network/Performance monitoring and logging experience would be a plus
