Job Description
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Sr. Change Management Analyst to join our team, supporting a large project at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee consultant staff on customer engagement delivery and quality matters within specified guidelines. The Sr. Change Management Analyst will perform a variety of complex engagement tasks requiring both practical experience and state-of-the-art theoretical knowledge in the field of change management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze change impacts on business processes and workforce, ensuring that risks are identified and mitigation strategies are put in place.
- Lead the design and delivery of communication and training plans, ensuring smooth transitions and high levels of user adoption across the organization.
- Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to support organizational transformations.
- Provide expert guidance to clients on navigating change management challenges and improving business processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the project’s objectives and customer expectations.
- Conduct assessments to measure organizational readiness and advise on mitigating risks during transitions.
- Track and report progress on change initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and recommending solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive change management documentation, including impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, and progress reports.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to build consensus among stakeholders and promote effective change adoption.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in change management, consulting, or related roles.
- Experience managing multiple change initiatives simultaneously, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to timelines.
- Experience working within a Program Management Office (PMO), supporting the development and implementation of governance frameworks, processes, and change management initiatives to drive project success and alignment with organizational goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in facilitating workshops and engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
- Proven experience in executing complex change management initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Change Management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ACMP).
- Experience in federal government or healthcare sector projects.
- Proficiency in change management software and tools.
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000.
