About the role:
We are looking for a well-rounded, highly creative brand designer to take our visual brand system and adapt it across a wide range of projects and audiences. Working within Marketing and reporting to the Manager, Brand Design, you’ll join our amazing team of designers, strategists, producers, filmmakers, and copywriters. In this role, you’ll develop and deliver design solutions for go-to-market initiatives across a diverse set of projects ranging in scope, media channel, and audience – from digital, like social media and web, to print, like trade show booths and OOH advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is obsessed with design excellence and stresses the details, is an effective multi-tasker, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong portfolio of work.

In this role, you will:
- Partner with key stakeholders such as marketers, copywriters, designers, and program managers to bring brand experiences to targeted audiences
- Demonstrate design leadership by providing guidance and feedback to ensure consistent, high-quality design output that delights our audiences, meets company objectives, and reinforces our brand across all touchpoints
- Conceptualize and design innovative visual elements that effectively communicate the brand's message across various media, including digital, print, and environmental graphics
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to ensure brand consistency and coherence in all internal and external communications
- Oversee the design of digital assets, including website design, social media graphics, and email marketing campaigns, ensuring they are user-friendly and align with brand identity
- Create and supervise the production of print materials and packaging, ensuring designs are visually appealing and communicate the brand's message effectively
- Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and brand objectives
- Liaise between vendors and external agencies to ensure brand consistency, timely communication, and accurate delivery of assets
- Gather and respond to feedback from stakeholders, using it to refine and improve brand design elements continuously
- Conduct and analyze market research to understand industry trends, competitor branding, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions and strategic direction
- Collaborate with design leadership to evolve our process, tools, and systems to ensure we’re creating great, consistent work
- Understand Samsara’s brand and collaborate on and contribute to developing overall experiences that reflect it
- Bring energy, creativity, and new ideas to help fuel the expansion of our brand
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 5+ years in related roles such as graphic design, brand marketing, or content marketing
- Ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong executive presence and self-assured executor
