About the Role
The IAM Security team is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join our team. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices, coupled with exceptional writing and communication skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting, and optimizing IAM processes and workflows to ensure alignment with security requirements, compliance standards, and best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is essential for this role to analyze existing IAM processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements.
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience
Process engineers take part in a wide variety of tasks and projects in the team. One individual is not expected to know everything, but working knowledge in several of the following areas is required:
- In-depth understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in designing, documenting, and optimizing IAM processes and workflows to meet security requirements, compliance standards, and business needs.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze existing IAM processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in creating various types of IAM documentation, including technical guides, process diagrams, and policy documents.
- Experience conducting interviews and workshops to gather requirements, validate documentation, and solicit feedback.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, SOC, and ISO 27001) are a plus.
- Experience gathering data and interfacing with compliance teams is desired.
