Mission Focus: Performing Modernization and enhancement, Operations and Maintenance, and Development on an existing web-based system to improve security, user functionality, stability, and cost efficiencies.
Clearance: Top Secret
Location/Flexibility: Remote with a possibility for occasional travel
Responsibilities:
As a Scrum Master, you will:
- Run daily standups, sprint planning, retrospective and other sprint ceremonies
- Work closely with designated ESD Product Owners as well as DevOps PM and EE&A PM to ensure the team is delivering a quality product of value to the Sponsor and on time
- Maintaining a strong awareness of technical trends in information technology
- Developing and maintain a strong awareness of on-going IT projects, and business unit requirements
- Applying the project management model (e.g. Spiral, Agile) selected for a given development effort
- Providing analysis, design, development, deployment, and lifecycle support for innovative hardware systems and applications
- Developing end-to-end cost analysis for projects
- Ensuring systems being developed comply with the enterprise technical architecture
- Helping project and program teams prepare for CIO Project Management Program control gates
- Keeping senior management apprised of project or program status
Required Qualifications:
Senior: BS degree and 6+ years of relevant experience OR HS Diploma and 9-13 years of relevant experience
Mid: BS degree and 3+ years of relevant experience OR HS Diploma and 6-8 years of relevant experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) OR Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- Exhaustive experience with Agile techniques and practices
- Demonstrated capability in managing multi-task projects of this scope and complexity.
- Demonstrated experience working with multiple specialties in a "one-team" environment.
- Experience across various technical disciplines such as Java, Oracle.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities through prior experience working with senior management to find solutions for customers and leading teams working on different technical disciplines and integrating them into a larger program.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of project management concepts and principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CompTIA Security+ Cert.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.
