Description
Verily, an Alphabet company, is conducting a search for experienced SAP technical personnel who will deliver high quality, reliable results as a member of an integrated team spanning SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP and middleware systems. This position is results-oriented and must bring innovative approaches to Verily’s system platforms through best practices, outside-the-box thinking and custom integration developments meeting business targets.
This role is responsible for managing SAP technical setup such as CDS views, communication scenarios/arrangements, external API and custom logic enhancements. Postman API skills are desired. The applicant will be addressing SAP related tickets in support of functional team members, enhancements, upgrade, post-upgrade exercises and cross functional support for integration issues. They are expected to be a valued member to the team providing support and guidance to internal team members with their ideas, attention to detail, and experiences working with SAP.
Responsibilities
- Build and support custom CDS creations, custom external API, custom reports, Custom logic and support middleware team with API call selections via postman, mapping and interface troubleshooting.
- Create/update documentation for standard work training documents, testing and functional/technical specifications.
- Continuous improvement and familiarization with SAP bi-annual releases including regression testing support for SAP and ancillary systems including post upgrade maintenance activities.
- Clearly communicate with internal team members and business team members regarding issues and deliverables.
- Business and technical aptitude with a strong willingness to learn, possessing critical thinking skills with an ability to research and solve complex problems or questions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS Degree with 5+ years experience in working with SAP S/4HANA.
- Demonstrated success in complex team projects using custom logic, data joins and external API usage.
- Knowledge of SAP best practices and standardized business processes.
- A track record of working collaboratively and productively with business partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Computer Science degree.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud solution.
- ABAP background.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $109,000 - $155,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
