The Sales team is looking for a highly motivated Sales Specialist (Maritime) who is excited about selling a disruptive maritime analytics provider (marinetraffic.com) and hunting new logos. Your main focus will be our container tracking solution and you will be targeting North America & LATAM markets!
Your responsibilities
Own the full sales cycle. Prospect new business, develop opportunities, demo the product (SaaS), and close sales Follow up on highly qualified opportunities at mid-sized and large companies Build relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders to grow new business Work collaboratively with our global Sales team, and product and market analysts to build the best product in the market and close exciting global dealsProvide accurate and up-to-date forecasts for any given month or yearClose new business consistently at or above quota levelHelp build and drive sales processes and strategy
Your experience
Extensive experience selling SaaS solutions to logistics, transportation, tech/IT, Finance, and other relevant sectors is a MUSTSignificant experience generating brand-new business sales opportunities (hunter mentality) A substantial network of contacts in the Maritime/Logistics industry across North America and LATAMConfidence and experience in pitching data/software services to high-level decision-makers in global high-value corporationsDriven and self-disciplined. You can work in autonomy without much guidance and thrive in unstructured, fast-paced, ever-changing environmentsA team player who always puts the business first with an eye on maximizing you and your team's long-term gainsStrong sales negotiation and sales closing skillsExcellent customer service, listening, and negotiation skillsAbility to analyze complex client requirements and needsGreat attitude and motivationBilingual Spanish/Portuguese is a plus!
