What Are We Looking For?

Contentstack is looking for a Sales (solutions) Engineer to join our expanding North American team! We are a little bit different than most companies. If you are an engineer that loves working with people, but doesn't want to be coding eight hours a day, this role is for you! As a Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in driving our customers’ success through the sales cycle and beyond. We are looking for someone who is passionate about growing as a Sales Engineer and helping our customers achieve their goals and is invested in their success. Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Demonstrate the value of Contentstack to prospects via demo sessions (virtually and in person as needed)    
  • Build technical proof of concepts (POCs)
  • Help guide prospects by responding to technical questions and requests 
  • Research prospects and collaborate with internal teams to tailor presentations to their business 
  • Collaborate with account executives during the pre-sales process for active accounts
  • Provide feedback to our product team on features and functionality
  • Keep up to date on composable architecture and related tools
  • Interface with our internal partnerships team & external partners on deals

What Really Gets Us Excited About You?

  • 5+ years of front end development experience with JavaScript expertise required
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solution Consultant in enterprise software is required
  • Must be located in the U.S.
  • Prefer someone located in central time zone (CST) who has lived in LATAM before
  • Must be fluent in English and Spanish
  • Experience in the content management industry or related industries such as e-commerce or marketing tech
  • In depth knowledge of development process and tools such as Git
  • Expertise in multiple web frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, and popular web technologies
  • Knowledge of NodeJS, ReactJS, VueJS or AngularJS
  • Desire to continue into a sales-focused technical role
  • Comfortable presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as executives
  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS software is also a big plus
  • Willing to travel as needed to prospects, partner sites, and industry events for technical demonstrations and workshops

 

Salary for this role falls between $90,000 to $140,000 plus other variables based on skill set and experience
