This role will report into our Go-To-Market (GTM) Enablement organization. The Enablement Program Manager role is central to aligning our business goals with the needs of our target audience, enhancing our go-to-market strategy and fostering collaboration across departments like Marketing, Sales, and Product. The individual in this role will work closely with GTM leadership to develop programs addressing sales performance and skill gaps. This involves collaboration with various departments to ensure that the training, tools, and resources provided align with the company's strategic goals and drive business growth.
Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:
- Improve Sales Process and Strategy
- Analyze sales processes and identify areas for improvement to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and implement strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Increase Sales Productivity and Team Performance
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline sales processes, reducing friction and inefficiencies.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure improvements in sales productivity, such as reduced sales cycle times, increased quota attainment, and enhanced sales rep ramp-up speed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Act as a SME and go-to resource for Sales, Marketing, Product, and People teams
- Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure consistency and alignment in Sales Enablement initiatives
- Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from stakeholders through regular check-ins to ensure the continuous improvement and relevance of enablement programs
- Technology and Tools Management:
- Understand and optimize the use of various Sales Enablement tools (like Highspot and Salesloft) by our team
- Content Creation and Delivery:
- Collaborate with the Manager of Content and Training and subject matter experts to create accurate and comprehensive project-specific content, such as presentations, guides, playbooks, and e-learning modules
Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
- As a key player on the Enablement Team, you help establish enablement priorities that are both qualitative and quantitative, inclusive of each team’s unique needs, and clearly driving toward the company and GTM org’s objectives
- As a trusted partner to GTM, you support each sales segment in upleveling and scaling- resulting in each team feeling confident, inspired, and clear on what “great” looks like and how to get there. Change management will be key to your success in driving team commitment and results
- As the ‘go-to’ for all things GTM Enablement, you project manage the holistic enablement experience, socialize your plan, and regularly communicate data-driven updates to your stakeholders (both GTM and cross-functional) so that everyone has clarity in your plan and an understanding of enablement effort results
- As a strong collaborator, you have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization in writing and live. You help connect the dots cross-functionally to make sure we’re mindful of our roll out cadences across programs so as to avoid noise and overwhelm
- As an Enablement SME, you are proficient in using content management systems (CMS) such as Highspot, Rise360, Articulate, Sana, etc to update and manage sales content across various platforms. You have demonstrated success in designing and delivering enablement programs, including training, content development, and tool roll-out
- You have experience working in a startup environment; wearing multiple hats, navigating through gray areas and adapting quickly to changes
- You have proven experience in a GTM or Sales Enablement role within a SaaS company. Prior experience in Sales or as an Account Manager at a SaaS company preferred
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000 TTC (base salary range: $90,000 - $120,000) + equity, which reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details reflect salary only and do not include benefits, perks, or other total rewards that we offer.
We also rely on market indicators along with considering your work location, job related skills, experience and relevant education and training, to determine compensation that is fair and competitive for you. Apartment List will consider paying compensation near the higher of the range in exceptional circumstances, where candidates have the experience, credentials or expertise that would warrant such consideration.
