How you’ll make an impact
The Reward Consultant (12 month secondment) plays an important role in ensuring that our People Experience (PX) team, Talent Experience (TX) team and People Leaders are supported to make robust, data led remuneration decisions as we implement the new Reward Strategy framework.
What you’ll do
Job sizing, benchmarking and analysis:
• Benchmark roles using a consistent and systematic approach
• Conduct analysis, reporting and insights in support of decision making (e.g. gender pay equity, market data analysis, pre ASR/ISR analysis)
• Complete data submissions and participate in ad-hoc surveys as required
Cyclical processes:
• Assist with the management of cyclical salary review processes (e.g. ASR / ISR)
• Support the management of the Short Term Incentive (STI) and bonus plans
• Undertake routine / standardised reporting as required (e.g benefits eligibility)
SME and advice:
• First point of contact for all Reward Team queries, escalate complex queries to Reward Partners as required
• Ensure all Reward related collateral is kept up to date
• Take responsibility for remuneration approvals within Lever and Workday
• Coordinate team activities (e.g. offsite, quarterly deep dives, weekly team meetings)
Reward projects:
• Support the roll out of the new Reward Strategy framework across all Xeros
• Support with the recognition roll out across Xero’s regions
• Support with any ad-hoc reward projects as required
Success looks like
• The Reward team is seen as being responsive to requests from business
• Projects and process are completed to a high standard and with assign timeframes
• Proactive reward partner support
• Using knowledge and sound judgment to solve problems
What you’ll bring with you
Critical competencies
• Basic understanding of reward practices
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and completing analysis
• Solid presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities
Experience
• Reward experience obtained through a either a specialist remuneration role or as part of a broader HR position
• Experience supporting multiple global stakeholders
• Project management and excellent communication skills
