The Revenue Operations team is looking to expand our compensation team. This role will help process and complete commission payments, accruals and audits to ensure the team is accurately compensated. You will help test and create comp plans and ensure all credits and commissions are being calculated correctly in our system. You will work cross-functionally while recommending enhancements to our current policies and procedures.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Execute Commission Processes: Manage the execution of quarterly commissions and monthly accruals, ensuring timely and accurate calculations.
- Oversee the accurate distribution of commissions, adhering to company compensation plans and addressing any discrepancies.
- Conduct Regular Audits: Perform monthly and weekly audits to ensure the accuracy of opportunity records, crediting across the organization, and correctness of commission calculations. Assist with the annual audit by preparing necessary documentation and supporting the audit process.
- Handle Compensation Onboarding and Off-boarding: Verify that new hires’ commissions and credits are correctly set up in the system, distribute their compensation plans, and ensure they have the required system access. Calculate final commissions for departing employees, ensure all compensation tasks are completed, and manage the removal of system access.
- Maintain and Update Documentation: Update and maintain compensation statement pages, compensation plan documents to ensure all documentation is current, accurate, and accessible to relevant team members.
- Attention to Detail: The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and deliverables. This includes the ability to meticulously review work, identify and correct errors, and maintain high standards of precision in a fast-paced environment.
You are a good fit if you have:
- Worked asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
- Have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in finance, accounting or a related field with exposure to calculating sales commissions
- Have performed calculations for commissions or handled financial data related to compensation processing
- Have you worked with Excel/Sheets to manage financial data for ad hoc reporting needs
You'll have an edge if you have:
- Experience processing monthly commissions and accruals or building out plans in a Sales Comp Tool (Captivate IQ, Xactly, etc.)
