About The Role:
Nielsen’s Policy and Guidelines Team is in search of an associate to fill the role of a Research Executive focused on Nielsen’s television and radio audience measurement panels.  The associate will be responsible for the identification, investigation, and resolution of respondent policy violations that impact the quality of published audience estimates.

The day-to-day activity will require that the associate: Develop a solid understanding of Nielsen’s measurement policy and methodology; play a key role in supporting panel security investigations and in improving Nielsen’s data quality controls; and will also provide policy support to our Client Services team and other internal stakeholders. 


Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of quality controls that identify respondent policy violations.  The position will require:
- Executing pre-designed queries according to a set schedule.
- Compiling the resulting alert flags & arranging for follow-up in accordance with policies & procedures.
- Conducting ad hoc investigations of quality issues.
- Communicating results to internal stakeholders.
- Documenting and tracking reviews and investigations, and providing summary statistics for each process.
• Contacting respondents by phone to resolve quality/security issues.  
• Answering policy-related questions received from Nielsen clients, the Client Services team, and other colleagues.
• Leading and/or contributing to the evaluation and improvement of existing processes. 
• Maintain a detailed documentation audit trail and assist in preparing detailed responses to inquiries from the company’s auditors.

Requirements/Qualifications:
 
• 3-5 years experience in survey-based or panel-based research, social science research, fraud analysis, and/or data analysis in a professional setting.
• Independent, creative, and holistic thinker who can identify and understand all sides of an issue, and take these into account when making decisions. 
• Confident team player that is comfortable working directly with clients and colleagues across a wide spectrum of roles.  
• Comfortable in relating to panel members.
• Diligent, detail-oriented worker.
• Must live in the Mexico City surrounding area with the ability to commute to the office for orientation & onboarding.


Additional Skills / Experience Required:
• Position requires native-level English fluency, as the position supports Nielsen’s local media audience measurement in the United States.
• Position requires interfacing with Nielsen clients and panel members, who are generally not bilingual.
• Familiarity with data querying and analysis tools such as MS Access, SQL, SPSS, or Python preferred.
