This is a one-year contract position; the person in this role will be paid hourly. We will honor local holidays and grant company-wide holidays to the contractor in this position.

About the role
We’re seeking a QA Automation Engineer to enhance our Engineering Team’s capabilities in delivering high-quality software solutions. Our QA Automation Engineers work closely with our development team to build end-to-end test automations that protect our releases against possible regressions.

What you’ll do
- Drive the software quality assurance life cycle within an Agile process
- Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams
- Design and implement test plans and test cases
- Develop and execute automated UI and functional tests
- Enhance and maintain automated CI flows
- Troubleshoot issues in the systems and interfaces that are being tested
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in QA Automation
- Proficiency in Typescript
- Experience with React and React Native application testing using Selenium, Mocha, and Chai
- Experience testing REST and GQL backend services
- Experience implementing test automation as part of a continuous integration process
- Familiarity with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Github Actions, JIRA)
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
