You will manage procurement spend for indirect and direct categories. You will create the global strategy around use and operations of the full procure to pay process. You will report to the Senior Manager, Procurement. You will:
- Advise end-users of preferred and most cost-effective suppliers
- Ensure that end-user requirements are sufficiently detailed in an appropriate format for sourcing
- Conduct strategic price and contract negotiations
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Have 180 days of service or fewer remaining before your date of discharge and you have at least 180 days of active service.
- Obtain approval from your unit commander.
- MOU must be approved and submitted before start.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Demonstrate strategic knowledge in indirect and direct procurement.
