The CDC Foundation is seeking candidates for a Public Health Specialist with experience in infection prevention and control and/or global health. This position will be an integral part of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Technical Assistance (TA) project team working to support Global Fund (GF) countries. This project focuses on strengthening IPC in 15 low-and middle-income countries that are receiving grants from the Global Fund on IPC. The Public Health Specialist will support efforts to strengthen existing IPC programs by addressing gaps, with a particular focus on project management. The Public Health Specialist will work in collaboration with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) subject matter experts at CDC/Atlanta and CDC country offices, Ministries of Health (MOH), CDC Foundation consultants, GF country teams and implementing partners in-country.
This full-time position will be hired by the CDC Foundation and assigned to the Division of Health Quality and Promotion (DHQP), National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID) at the CDC.
