Capco is looking for an ambitious team player to join our team and support our clients in their most ambitious projects. Someone who works well in ambiguous situations, and is able to add structure and organization to a project.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the successful execution of project timelines and milestones, raising any risks to these timelines and aligning on a new target
- Collaborate with internal and external contributors as a trusted advisor to inform and support a client specific co-delivery plan while adhering to implantation processes
- Actively track all activities and their status; accountable for critical project deadlines and tasksusing Microsoft Project Plan, JIRA/Kanban, RAIDD and other tools
- Engage with Stakeholders and Various Business and Technology Teams, also managing and supporting other vendors
- Take meeting minutes and Action Items
- Address and mitigate potential issues with project delivery
- Regularly communicate with our Client, including attending and providing updates during Standups, weekly All Hands Calls, Status Update Calls and other discussions
- Maintain up to date documentation and communicate findings to key stakeholders
- Regularly communicate project status and circulate project information to the team
- Ensure customers are fully satisfied with project completion
- Lead workshops with client and Capco representatives
Show Us What You’ve Got
- 5+ years of project management and implementation management
- Demonstrated experience leading application development projects
- Good knowledge of and/or experience working with software re-write / re-engineering / re-factoring projects
- Able to facilitate technical discussions for solutioning
- Able to provide estimates for duration/effort of design/development activities
- Experience and capabilities to speak with customer leaders to extract expectations, provide insightful information, and manage expectations
- Comfortable speaking and presenting to senior stakeholders and clients
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, enabling cross-business teams
- Ability work in a fast-paced environment while following best practice and company process
- Highly driven and passionate about customer satisfaction, product development and technology
- Excellent oral, listening, and written communication skills
- Excellent people and presentation skills
- Banking experience desirable but not necessary
