Job Description
As Product Owner of Automotive Management Services within the Software organization, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of your product by communicating the business value, vision and product roadmap. You will be collaborating closely with business stakeholders, users and other product managers to ensure the platform supports the needs of all stakeholders. We are looking for a world class product leader and innovator to join our high-performing team to shape the future.
Job responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Establish and own the vision and strategic priorities for products within your domain
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define OKRs, product themes and features
- Set product feature priorities and timelines, analyze trade-offs, business, and sales impact of different features to provide data-driven prioritized requirements to engineering teams
- Ensures the product backlog reflects the vision and strategy by working closely with other Product Managers
- Collaborates with the team to detail features with acceptance criteria along with the business value.
- Uses business cases to make the case for new features and products/technology
- Coordinates dependencies with other product managers within the Software organization
- Builds relationships with key stakeholders, users and other influencers
- Continuously researches industry developments, new market trends and understands how our products are performing with current customers
- Considers flexibility and scalability as core attributes of the platform
Works cross functionally with other product areas within the Software organization and across the enterprise
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- achelor's of Science degree in Engineering or related degree field
- 3+ years of overall experience
- 1+ years of experience as a Product Manager
- Experience working with in an Agile environment
- Experience with software product development and lifecycles, including agile methodologies.
- Strong relationship building skills, including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of an organization
- Teamwork spirit with strong listening, technical writing, and oral communication skills
- Outstanding skills in presenting to both technical and executive audiences
Additional Information
Preferred Qualificiations:
- Background in product management of automotive products
- Experience working with services oriented architectures
- Experience with IOT, Streaming and Edge computing technologies
- Knowedge of ADAS. Cockpit SW development and Automotive Safety standards is a plus
- A software development background with experience in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python)
- Experience designing and developing software in embedded systems with Autosar, Linux or QNX operating systems.
- Experience working in a scaled Agile Environment
- Experience with cybersecurity and functional safety concepts
- Experience working with automotive networks (i.e. CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and protocols (e.g. UDS, SOME/IP, etc.)
- Experience designing and developing software in embedded systems
- Experience working with multi-user systems
