Job description:

The Product Marketing Manager at PriceSpider spearheads all marketing efforts for their assigned products. These individuals deeply understand their target audience’s everyday challenges and can succinctly explain how their product helps solve customer problems. Through close collaboration with product owners, product managers, marketing, and go-to-market (GTM) teams, the Product Marketing Manager is able to shape effective marketing content that supports the lifecycle of the products they support. They are also responsible for understanding the market and competitive landscape, while executing the launch of product features and packaging, planning and executing new product launches and updating product plans for existing products. 

 

What will you be doing:

  • Work cross-functionally to define and execute comprehensive GTM plans for our solutions, including pricing and packaging in collaboration with product management
  • Work closely with other product marketers and product managers to ensure appropriate product positioning and messaging that differentiates and rolls up to overall solution messaging
  • Consistently look for opportunities to improve and iterate product marketing strategies
  • Gather market and competitive intelligence to inform the entire product GTM strategy, from pricing and packaging to positioning, messaging, promotion, and selling of our products
  • Lead or support training of sales and customer success teams on new tools and products
  • Engage in customer research and regularly engage with customers to refine target segments, personas, and pain points for each solution
  • Execute solution positioning and messaging by understanding the market and the challenges key buyer personas face

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field, MBA or Masters degree (preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in product marketing role, preferably for a SaaS business
  • Deep understanding of market trends and product lifecycles
  • Firm grasp of ways to develop strategic product marketing initiatives
  • Possess strong expertise across various aspects of marketing, including brand marketing, PR, content management, digital marketing, and performance marketing
  • Prior experience in launching new products or new markets
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Organized and self-disciplined, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Compensation:

The base salary for this role is $80,000-95,000. Please note that our salary ranges are based on current market data and the offered compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and other factors permitted by law.
