About the Role

As the Product Manager for "Paga y Gana," you'll be instrumental in launching this product in Baubap's app. You'll ensure the new product works smoothly, overseeing its development, implementation, launch, and ongoing improvement.

The role embodies the dual responsibility of empathetically catering to our customers’ needs while steering the product strategy toward meeting and exceeding these expectations. It’s a fine balance of understanding market dynamics, user insights, and technological possibilities to deliver solutions that resonate profoundly with our customers while driving sustainable growth for Baubap.

About the team that you'll lead

Paga y Gana aims to simplify bill payments, top-ups, and gift card purchases through our app, offering customers the chance to earn commissions on everyday transactions, reducing financial management burden, and enhancing financial gains.

As the Product Manager for Paga y Gana, these are the challenges that you will help us solve

• Build an A-player team: Assemble a small team of top talent to create a robust, customer-focused group of multidisciplinary, high-performing individuals.
• Deliver Customer Value: Create products that customers love and find valuable. This involves deeply understanding customer needs and problems and delivering solutions that not only meet but exceed their needs.
• Deliver Business Value: Develop products that contribute to the business’s success. This could mean boosting revenue, retaining customers, or entering new markets.
• Market Understanding and Strategy: Dive deep into the market landscape, studying competitors, trends, and tech advancements to shape a solid product strategy.
• Refinement of Product Strategy: Develop and refine the product strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
• Product Offering Expansion: Expand our product offering to increase the impact on customers' income and move towards becoming Latin America's largest inclusion bank.

 Day to day

• Engage daily with engineers and designers to build a collaborative environment.
• Lead your team's professional development. Guide and support team members, aligning them with the product vision to enhance their contributions.
• Understand user needs through interviews, surveys, and feedback analysis, combining qualitative and quantitative data for product innovation.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to ideate, prototype, and test solutions, prioritizing value and feasibility.
• Use user data and success metrics to guide product decisions, assessing feature impact and product health.
• Make product feature and direction choices based on customers’ insights, stakeholder feedback, and market analysis.
• Keep stakeholders updated, ensuring they are informed of progress and challenges.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor actions, and new product management technologies or methodologies.
• Aim for continuous, iterative, and high-quality product delivery.

The profile we are looking for

• Proficient in Agile methodology to drive iterative, customer-focused product development.
• Experience working at product-focused companies.
• You have skills and experience building storytelling for products.
• You have experience in startups or fintechs.
• Proficient data analysis skills to interpret data using tools like Metabase, SQL, and Excel to inform product decisions and track key metrics.
• Experience managing the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, including customer research and go-to-market strategies.
• Experienced in customer research techniques, translating insights into product features and enhancements.
• Languages: English (advanced) and Spanish
