The Product Manager is responsible for identifying new products to be brought to market, supporting the development of those products, directing the development of the content needed to promote those products, and managing new product launches.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Perform VOC (voice of customer) and VOS (voice of sales) research on a regular basis
- Perform regular competitor research
- Develop product positioning informed by VOC, VOS, and competitor research
- Monthly analysis of sales by product line, sales trends
- Analyze internal data and perform market research to make recommendations on growth areas for products and new product lines
- Develop sales training materials, lead/organize sales team trainings
- Analyze and track inventory levels for managed products to determine replenishment levels and ensure available inventory of managed products
- Work with SMEs to plan and develop key content needed to promote products (including case studies, peer-reviewed content, white papers)
- Ensure product marketing content is accurate and up to date
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
- Bachelors or above in a life sciences area
- 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, or in a scientific role at a life sciences company
Other Required:
- Must be able to read, write, speak fluently and comprehend the English language
Preferred:
- 3+ years in a marketing or FAS role promoting life science products
