🙌 About the role
We're seeking a Product Manager to support our mission to build a borderless world. You'll be working closely with our engineering, design, and marketing teams to execute and enhance our product strategy and roadmaps. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure that our product launches are successful and that we continuously improve our products. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in managing complex products from ideation to launch and possess knowledge in product lifecycle management.
🎯 What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute the product strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives, and ensure that the product roadmap delivers against those objectives.
- Define and manage the product roadmap by prioritizing it based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. Continuously update and communicate the roadmap to stakeholders.
- Understand the key journeys and pain points of Localyze's current key users, including HR, employees, and internal case managers, and build solutions that align with our product vision.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development process from ideation to launch in collaboration with engineering, design, marketing, and other teams. Ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high quality.
- Develop product messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the product's value proposition to customers and differentiates it from competitors.
- Communicate the product roadmap, and key prioritisation decisions to the Leadership Team for buy-in as well as showcasing the product direction to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and execute product launches, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and prepared. Work closely with marketing to develop launch plans and materials.
💫 About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have at least 2 - 3 years of recent experience in product management in the tech industry, ideally in a SaaS start-up environment.
- Think in terms of big picture, but deliver on the details.
- Turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans.
- Demonstrate a bias towards action.
- Are a team player who enjoys working closely with engineers, designers, and UX researchers.
- Are technical enough to ask engineers insightful questions about architecture and product decisions alike.
