Description

Product Business Analyst will author product requirements for a mortgage product or set of products. This role will act as a subject matter expert on customer needs to guide R&D teams to build the right solution for the market. The role will collect and analyze data for potential business expansion.
 
Expected Duties:
 
- Product Business Analysts will define the root causes of business problems with general guidance
- Expected to elicit, generate, and refine product requirements for new and existing system functionality
- Responsible for documenting requirements in software development lifecycle artifacts
- Product Business Analysts will contribute to the preparation and review of test procedures and reports
- The role will test out the business processes and recommend relevant improvements
- Expected to provide support as a project team member as needed
 
Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
 
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent work experience)
- Familiarity with Scrum framework is highly preferred
- Mortgage industry experience is highly preferred
- Be able to work on problems of a moderate scope which are often varied and routine where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Ability to apply learned techniques and contributes to analysis and investigation to solve problems
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions

Salary range of $85,900 - $121,300. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
