Position Description:
Punchh is looking for someone who will use their deep understanding of full-stack, modern web technologies and experience with data at scale to help build the next-gen full app stack & infrastructure that makes our Enterprise B2B SaaS customers happy. You will be working across our engineering teams designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and be responsible for our overall Platform Health. You will be responsible for the technical architecture and roadmap across our API, web and mobile apps and carefully balancing quality with speed. You will work with technical leads on product architecture for our SaaS platform.

What We’re Looking For:
Entrees (Requirements):
- Masters or Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience of such a degree)
- 12+ years of software development experience
- 10+ years of experience in GoLang/Ruby on Rails/Python/Java
- In-depth experience with ElasticSearch
- Hands-on experience in scaling very high traffic systems
- Proficient in designing and architecting complex systems
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience leading evaluations and discussions with third party solutions and integrations
- Proven experience in SaaS product development for enterprise-based environments
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
- Work with multiple teams of platform engineers to provide a meaningful impact to customers by delivering high quality platform features at high velocity
- Architect the application and give technical direction to the team
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, DevOps, and Product Managers to design specifications, plan, and deliver solutions
- Lead and coach our Engineering team members through all phases of the development lifecycle
- Design scalable services leveraging modern technology and industry best practices that are suitable for production deployment
- Drive the technical strategy and technical roadmap with hands-on leadership in architecture and implementation
- Write architecture and design documents
- Manage cross-functional relationships with stakeholders, engineers, and technical partners
- Mentor and work with development teams
- Lead by example to meet quality objectives and timelines
- Support Sales by implementing POC or hosting demos

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $135,000 to $162,500 CAD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments. The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
