Job Description
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to verify the functionality, performance, and security of software applications.
- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability.
- Perform thorough analysis of product specifications to create comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results, identifying defects and areas for improvement.
- Take ownership of the test automation process, continually optimizing and enhancing automated testing practices.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any testing-related issues or concerns.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the test automation team, sharing best practices and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Having +8 years of professional experience in test automation. Experience with mobile testing is a must-have.
- Strong experience in working with Katalon.
- Proven expertise in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Strong programming skills (Java, Python, or C#).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact directly with clients and internal teams.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Having experience/knowledge of BFSI industry is a plus
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium) are a bonus.
- Fluent in English, have experience in working directly with global clients
