Array is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented People Operations Consultant to join our team on a part-time contract basis. This role will involve managing various aspects of employee leave requests, including handling documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and company policies. Additionally, you'll be responsible for benefits administration, responding to employee inquiries, and managing vendor relationships. This role will be fractional, reporting to the SVP of Talent Strategy and work up to 20 hours a week. This position is fully remote.
You will:
- Prepare, track and manage employee leave requests. including sending required notices and managing eligibility for short term disability, long term disability, LOA, FMLA and medical disability
- Unemployment paperwork/documentation
- Current on HR laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policies
- Benefits Administration
- Enroll employees with carriers and process life status changes
- Assist employees regarding benefit claims
- Respond to 401K inquiries
- Employment verifications
- Manage the open enrollment process Collaborate with the vendor relationships between Array’s 401k provider, broker and healthcare administrators
You have:
- 5+ years of hands-on HR support experience in people operations and HR compliance and benefits
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide high-quality support to employees with thoughtfulness
- Strong ownership mindset — will move over barriers and own things deeply end-to-end
- Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively, handle ambiguity, and tackle open-ended problems
