Day in the Life of a NetSuite Technical Consultant
The role of the NetSuite Technical Consultant is to partner with internal delivery teams to utilize their revenue recognition and full Quote-to-Revenue expertise to demonstrate the value of Neocol's NetSuite practice. The resource will work closely with clients to establish NetSuite business requirements, and partner with internal resources for design and configuration as it relates to NetSuite. Services will be related to deploying and contributing to the ARM Connector IP as well as assisting with NetSuite services such as installing Avalara, connecting integrations, and developing via SuiteScript.

A Neocol NetSuite Technical Consultant  is responsible for working with clients to implement and configure NetSuite features. This requires that the Consultant understands the client's NetSuite requirements and can configure the system accordingly. The Consultant will work with the client to ensure that integrations are generating records across objects within NetSuite. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for assisting internal resources with integration mappings as well as providing training and support to the client's staff on the NetSuite features.


  • Work on existing and new NetSuite projects delivering Neocol’s ARM Connector
  • Collaborate with project teams to lead Advisory, Analysis & Design, Build, UAT and Go-Live activities for NetSuite projects
  • Meeting with clients to understand their NetSuite policies and procedures and document requirements for the implementation of the NetSuite features
  • Configuring the system to reflect the client's NetSuite requirements
  • Testing the system to ensure that all objects are generating as expected and that the customer’s requirements are being met
  • Providing training and support to the client's staff on the NetSuite features within their system
  • Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise with the client's implementation of the NetSuite features
  • Staying current with changes in NetSuite’s functionality and capabilities
  • Working with other consultants and project team members to deliver end-to-end solutions to clients
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and keeping clients informed of project status

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical business facing role focusing on NetSuite
  • 2+ years of experience with SuiteCloud
  • Strong proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 and SuiteTalk for NetSuite customization and integration.
  • In-depth knowledge of SuiteBuilder and SuiteFlow for customizing forms, fields, records, and workflows, particularly
  • Level 1: Skilled Celigo Certification & Level 2: Seasoned Celigo Certification 
  • Strong understanding of how business processes translate into NetSuite functionality
  • Experience with NetSuite, with focuses on how NetSuite objects interact with one another as well as how data from other systems (primarily Salesforce) becomes data in NetSuite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and identify potential systematic issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and other members of the project team
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work 1 day per week at the Neocol Office in Montevideo, Uruguay

Preferred Qualifications

  • Level 3: Master Celigo Certification & Level 4: Legendary Celigo Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields 
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, ACCA or CFA is an added advantage
  • Experience with Subscription Based Industry
  • Experience in ARM (Advanced Revenue Management)
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Billing
  • Strong Excel capabilities
