About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be one of the founding members of the Account Executive team in India. As a founding site team member, this is a great opportunity to contribute to your direct function, building and fostering a culture of excellence with a high performing team.
This role is required to be on-site in the Bangalore office. Transportation, snacks, and meals will be provided. Working hours are 6 pm IST - 3 am IST (Note: During Daylight Savings hours shift to 5 pm IST - 2 am IST).
What you'll do:
- Consult with Finance leaders (VPs, Directors) and Controllers to help them achieve full visibility and better control over all non-payroll company spend.
- Source, progress, and close new mid-market accounts through a consultative and insight-driven sales approach.
- Provide valuable input into the product roadmap and be the voice of the customer for the product management and engineering teams.
What you'll bring:
- 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in selling to medium-sized enterprises.
- Proven past successes in your professional career.
- Have prior experience working at an early-stage startup.
- Have demonstrated pipeline-building capabilities (as SDR, BDR, or AE), using cold email and cold outbound calling.
- Self-starting attitude with a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Are growth-minded and have the grit and attention to detail to be successful.
- You want to be an active participant in building the company, will be the first to raise your hand, and share your opinion on how to make things better.
