About the Opportunity:
Sagent is seeking a QE Manager to build and manage a team of QA engineers in a cross-functional, agile team context. This role will lead the QE team in developing and implementing QE strategy, standards, and measures. Perform hands-on testing tasks as needed. Focus on establishing a practice for testable requirements implementation throughout the creation phases and beyond. Provide governance around quality engineering practices, especially in-sprint test automation.

Your day to day at Sagent:
- Manage, lead, and mentor a geographically distributed team of QA Engineers and Analysts to deliver high quality code that is secure, reusable, and scalable.
- Elevate the quality of engineering across the organization by taking part in design sessions, improving documentation, and enforcing governance practices.
- Create and improve testing plans based on product requirements for emerging systems and architecture.
- Proactively set and contribute to the QE department's overall vision via research, presentation, and implementation of best practices and innovative toolsets.
- Collaborate with the leadership to help grow the QE team and practices.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with 3-4 years of QA Engineering experience OR 6-8+ years of QA Engineering experience in-lieu of degree.
- Extensive experience with test automation practices and tooling.
- 4+ years of experience leading teams and mentoring directly.
- In-depth familiarity with a variety of testing methodologies including unit, integration, functional, manual, load, and regression.
- In-depth knowledge of Accessibility testing and compliance.
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Snowflake, Postgres, Kafka, RESTful services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and white-boarding skills.
- Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook).
- Familiarity with the mortgage industry to include working knowledge of mortgage loan servicing.
- Experience in cross-functional Agile Scrum teams and rely on proven management methodologies.
- Experience working with XML & JSON web services and flat file integrations.
- Proficiency with test planning, construction, and artifact management software.
