We are seeking a passionate bilingual (English & Spanish) Marketing Specialist to join OpenTable’s marketing team to support B2B and B2C marketing efforts. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and driving marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of the initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to help implement a world-class marketing strategy for the world’s leading restaurant reservations provider. The right person for this role should be a great teammate, very organized, and possesses a deep appreciation for food and the restaurant industry!

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with Sr. Marketing Manager (MX & CA) to implement our brand and content marketing activities
  • Responsible for supporting in the execution of marketing campaigns across growth markets, in order to drive brand awareness, diner acquisition, and reservations through B2C marketing activities, as well as lead generation and restaurant retention through B2B marketing activities
  • Report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager (MX & CA)
  • Manage B2C social media channels, content guides blogs, and influencer activities to drive greater brand awareness
  • Support B2B acquisition and growth efforts across multiple channels, including website, blog, advertising, email, events/trade shows, partnerships and coordinated campaigns
  • Manage and track performance using metrics and analytics, making recommendations and adapting marketing plans and media strategies to incorporate best practices and key takeaways for future campaigns
  • Work closely with local sales & account management teams to provide marketing support for restaurants

Please apply if:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of marketing experience
  • Strong writing and verbal skills - fluent in English and Spanish
  • Passion for the restaurant business and hospitality, familiarity with the dining scene and restaurant industry in the Mexican market is a plus
  • Experience working in marketing and projects with various partners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing metrics.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management skills, including an ability to take inputs from a variety of internal and external sources and maintain up-to-date documentation
  • Comfortable with a wide variety of technologies and ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Highly organized with the ability to identify and troubleshoot inefficient, unreliable processes
