Position Overview: Apollo is looking for a seasoned marketing analytics professional to work closely with our growing marketing team. In this role, you will monitor the health of the marketing funnels, enhance performance, processes and technological improvements to maximize program ROI and deliver customer satisfaction, build the analytics framework that will operationalize our reporting capabilities, and proactively identify insights to guide program and monetary investments on the marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Be a thought partner to marketers and guide investments in our SEO and SEM strategy by creating top-of-funnel metric instrumentation
- Own top-of-funnel tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and certify metrics and definitions with a high level of confidence
- Collaborate with the demand generation team in tracking the effectiveness of digital ad campaigns by measuring conversion rates, attribution, and return on ad spend
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to build new data products, and operationalize data infrastructure. As one of their business stakeholders, create comprehensive requirements documents and support engineering builds
- Through weekly reporting, proactively identify gaps in the rep-led and self-serve funnels. Evaluate how the business is trending towards goals, and advise stakeholders on ways to course-correct
Requirements:
- 6-8 years in a Business Operations, Analytics, or a Strategy/Insights role with expertise in leading complex, cross-functional projects
- Exceptional analytical experience and prior experience implementing Google Analytics, managing Google Tag Manager, and an understanding of tools such as Mutiny. Experience using SQL and Looker is a huge plus
- Ability to distill complex insights into clear, actionable steps for the business
- Ability to build trust with stakeholders, proactively collaborate with marketers to design a repeatable framework for tracking top-of-funnel web metrics
- Strong presentation, communication skills, and the ability to drive several cross-functional projects in parallel is important
