As a member of Okta’s Global Marketing Automation team, you’ll help implement integrated marketing automation best practices throughout multiple types of marketing campaigns, build and define target audience lists, launch emails and build campaigns, monitor calendaring, SLAs and quality assurance.
The Marketing Automation Coordinator Opportunity
We are looking for a Marketing Automation Coordinator to support and execute within our marketing automation platform. In this role you will work within an intake system to monitor and build campaign operations requests, including various types of email communications, campaign builds, and more.
You will work closely with the global marketing operations team, as well as product, campaign, regional and partner marketing teams by utilizing our martech stack, like Asana, Marketo, SFDC, Splash, Folloze, 6sense and others to handle and triage daily intake of marketing automation requests, streamline marketing efforts and make them more effective.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and updating projects assigned to the Marketing Automation team daily in project management tool (Asana)
- Managing day-to-day creation and execution of email campaigns, including design, segmentation, scheduling, and deployment.
- Maintaining the email marketing calendar to support, develop and communicate email marketing campaigns and provide visibility in Global Marketing Calendars and Asana project management.
- Ensuing emails are reviewed, scheduled and sent to support company goals
- Managing technical setup and support for campaign execution
- Organizing ongoing email programs, running A/B and multivariate tests, analyzing the results, and recommending appropriate changes based on conclusions.
- Working closely with Marketing Operations and Demand Generation teams on nurture streams
- Troubleshooting and QAing campaigns, workflows, data issues, and other key marketing ops functions
- Building and managing SFDC campaigns in accordance with Marketo and Salesforce.com native campaign syncs or smart campaign flow step
- Ensuring delivery of an error-free product consistently
- Supporting daily Q&A from stakeholders on campaign and audience setup, infrastructure and tool utilization.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Understanding of multi-audience and multi-channel campaigns
- 2+ years experience in Database, Email or Operations Marketing or similar.
- Experience in Salesforce, Marketo
- Understanding of marketing technology such as Splash, Folloze, Litmus, or similar
- Experience in project management and task delivery in work management tool (Asana preferred or similar)
- Experience with troubleshooting systems, process, and data issues
- Impeccable attention to detail and committed to quality work.
- Strong project management skills required with the ability to connect the dots across teams.
- Bachelor's degree required.
