Manager, Lifecycle Marketing

About the Role:

Beyond Finance is looking for a Manager on our Lifecycle Marketing team. This position is focused on driving forward the performance of the critical communication touchpoints to improve customer retention. This person will span across digital and offline marketing channels leading cross-functional efforts and executing on strategic marketing initiatives. This person will leverage the wealth of data the business generates to identify opportunities, improve communication touchpoints, and build a world-class customer experience. We are looking for candidates who are excited about developing and executing on customer retention initiatives as well as improving upon existing processes and operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage communication initiatives that focus on new projects and/or existing channel funnel optimization to improve customer retention KPIs; Initiatives will require end-to-end execution from initial assessment through recommendation and implementation
  • Develop a strategic roadmap based off data-driven recommendations to improve performance and the customer experience, focused on ideas that will “move the needle”
  • Deeply understand the customer, what motivates them, what their key pain points are within their program journey
  • Own segmentation logic for campaigns to ensure the right touchpoint finds the right user at the right time
  • Perform market analysis and competitive intelligence research to inform new ideas or existing program improvements
  • Identify opportunities for automation and system improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams to execute on initiatives including marketing, product, client services, strategy and operations, engineering, design, legal and others
  • Deliver executive level reporting, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Build and/or maintain operational dashboards and reporting suite to track, manage, and provide valuable insights on metrics and KPIs

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 4-6+ years’ experience preferred
  • Results driven and love to dive into the data to inform decisions
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Hungry to work hard, learn fast, be a key business driver, and do hands on work
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and possess a ‘figure it out & get it done’ mentality
  • Excellent analytical skills; solid understanding of experiment design, measurement, and analysis (i.e. A/B testing) and the ability to make recommendations supported by data-based rationale
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Comfortable with HTML/CSS and have used customer engagement platforms a plus
  • Prior email, SMS and/or direct-to-consumer marketing experience a plus
