Your responsibilities will include:
- You will manage a team of 8 highly motivated engineers, lead them through change, and help them to grow even further
- You make sure to closely align and relate your team’s work with the company’s objectives, and provide clarity on priorities to allow your team to focus on what matters most
- You build up relevant technical and domain knowledge to drive decision-making processes, involving perspectives of relevant stakeholders and your own judgment
- You manage your team`s delivery contributing towards the product roadmap while also taking operational responsibility for your team`s components within our SaaS offering and through support cases
*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere where we are eligible to hire, please find a list of available countries here. Please note that the majority of this team is based in the EMEA region and an overlap of 3-4h in working hours is required for collaboration.
What You’ll Bring:
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product
- Strong background in Engineering: 5+ years of hands-on Engineering experience
- Proven track record of working in complex and technical domains
- 2+ years of people leadership experience (Technical Lead, Lead Engineer or similar)
- Ability to build good and strong relationships with your reports and peers alike, building trust and creating a positive work environment around you
- Strong and proven track of problem-solving skills, helping your team to overcome challenges as they arise, be they technical or organizational
You thrive in taking ownership of the codebase, as well as how you deploy and operate softwareYou are comfortable with the “you build it, you run it” mindset.
Nice to have’s:
- Experience working with BPMN
- Experience delivering a product for Self-Managed as well as SaaS deployments
- Experience working with Kubernetes, Prometheus, Google Cloud
- (Usage) Experience with Distributed systems (Elasticsearch, Cassandra)

Compensation
For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.
The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $152,100.00 to $228,100.00
- Germany: €101,200.00 to €151,700.00
- United Kingdom: £98,600.00 to £147,900.00
- Singapore: S$188,900.00 to S$283,300.00
