About the Role:
The mission of the Education Team is to increase the number of individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills required to be successful with Camunda. To achieve this, we offer a number of educational services such as public / private classroom training, on-demand training and certification.
As an Education Manager it’s your mission to lead and expand a team of highly experienced Trainers. This encompasses people management, managing team goals as well as proactive mentorship and development of team members. You will also be responsible for all Instructor Led Training (ILT) activities globally and will be leading commercial discussions as well as training scoping, planning, and escalation handling.
As part of this role you will collaborate closely with various Camunda teams, e.g. Customer Success Management, Sales, Product Management or Customer Support. As part of the Education Management team you’ll also work on the strategic evolution of our organization which will allow us to continue to grow fast and deliver high quality and state of the art education services.
What you'll be doing:
- People Management - Lead, develop and grow a team of Technical Trainers / Instructors.
- Instructor Led Training Management - Position / sell our instructor led training courses to customers and partners ensuring that key metrics such as bookings, revenue, utilization and customer satisfaction are being met.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities for the continuous improvement of our instructor led training offering and define / manage projects to address the identified opportunities
*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere we are eligible to hire, please find a list of available countries here. Please note that the team you'll be working with is based in EMEA and an overlap in time zones is required.
What you bring:
- Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
- Practical experience in managing and growing high-performance technical teams, ideally in Technical Training, Consulting or Professional Services.
- Practical experience in managing a Classroom Training business; competent at selling, scheduling, resourcing and managing all aspects of ILT / VILT training.
- Excellent customer facing skills; ability to quickly build relationships with customers, partners and Camundi to ensure that educational objectives are being met.
- Hands-on attitude; able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement the appropriate steps independently
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
Nice to Have:
- Experience managing Authorized Training Partners (ATPs)
- Experience with BPMN / Process Orchestration / Camunda
- European language skills; French, Spanish, German
- Bachelor’s / Master's degree in a technical field (e.g. Information Systems, Business Informatics, Computer Science)

Compensation
For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.
Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence.
The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows:
- United States: $161,300.00 to $242,000.00
- Germany: €107,300.00 to €160,900.00
- United Kingdom: £104,600.00 to £156,800.00
- Singapore: S$200,400.00 to S$300,500.00
