Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable and performant machine learning models from analysis to production pipeline.
- Ability to perform both new feature development and maintenance on all Civitas machine learning models and pipelines.
- Ability to validate new and existing machine learning models to ensure they are operating within acceptable thresholds.
- Ability to work across multiple products and engineering teams to resolve customer issues.
- Perform ad hoc statistical analysis and machine learning investigation.
- Lead other talented engineers in software engineering design and best practices with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of software engineering, data science, and/or statistical analysis
- Experience in designing, debugging, and building modern machine learning algorithms and pipelines
Must have expertise in some of the following:
- Statistical analysis
- Python/Scala/R
- Pytorch/Pandas/TensorFlow/Scikit
- Metaflow/MLFlow/Jupyter Notebooks
- RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, etc.), being proficient with SQL
- Intermediate English reading level
Experience with some of the following is a huge bonus:
- AWS
