About the Linux Endpoint Engineer Position

Linux Endpoint Engineer Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other engineers on the team to design, develop, test, and deploy features in Stairwell’s endpoint agent in Linux.
- Build out infrastructure to test and monitor agents within a Linux environment across a variety of distributions.
- Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.
Linux Endpoint Engineer Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong background in software development in one or more of Go, Rust, C, or C++.
- Strong background in Linux systems programming interfaces, including:
- audit
- eBPF
- Container abstractions such as Cgroups and namespaces.
- Systemd.
- Working experience with kernel drivers is a plus.
- Close familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology and release processes.
- Curiosity in understanding the security space and how cutting edge technologies can shape it.
Additional Information: Minimum Salary of $160,000-180,000 + equity + benefits.
