Lead Product Designer, Provider

About The Role

As a Product Design Lead, you will collaborate closely with the provider team to help deliver strategic initiatives, build the design team and jump in to help teams execute wherever needed. This is an impactful opportunity, making it easier for providers to build and run their practice on Headway. 

You will:

  • Use your product thinking, visual design, and system steward skills to collaborate with a talented and mission driven cross-functional team to evolve our product vision and build product solutions.
  • Continue to build the provider design team, culture and foundation and support the professional development of the team members. 
  • Advocate the value of design at the Exec level and push for a design excellence culture at Headway. 

You will be a great fit if:

  • You have 8+ years of Product Design experience.
  • You have experience in leading and delivering product solutions of large and/or ambiguous scope at the systems level.
  • You have experience in managing a design team or mentoring/coaching designers to realize their career aspirations.
  • You’re inspired by complex customer problems, early stage product development, setting vision, and helping teams hold a high bar for craft.
  • You have a strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of projects.
  • You have experience working cross-functionally, with the ability to present, motivate and inspire others.
  • You are motivated by our mission. We are working to solve the biggest problems in mental health care today (access and affordability).

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary information is based on a single salary target per role:
    • The starting salary for Lead Product Designer, Provider is $238,000.
