The Lead FP&A Analyst will serve as a key financial business partner to assigned business functions providing a link between business functions and the FP&A team while supporting corporate forecasting needs. The analyst in this role will build, update and interpret business needs into financial insights through financial models and strategic business analyses. In addition, the Lead FP&A analyst will support corporate FP&A activities such as cash flow forecasting, consolidating inputs across the FP&A team and supporting projects as needed. The successful individual in this role will be self-motivated, detail oriented and be accountable working under deadlines. This role will help support the company’s overall financial goals through balancing insights and analytics across both business and financial objectives.

The successful individual in this role will be ready to roll-up their sleeves and work cross functionally to achieve high quality results. Proven experience as a successful financial business partner is required.

Essential Job Duties

  • Become embedded with key leaders across the company, establish trust and quickly understand the business, economics and metrics.
  • Lead the consolidation of assigned areas of financial metrics and reporting across the FP&A team to include cash modeling.
  • Define, develop and utilize key metrics/KPIs to deliver insights into trends/variances to plan/forecast.
  • Leverage insightful data analysis to develop robust models on trends, key business drivers and financial results to prioritize & plan key decisions supporting various forecasting areas.
  • Ability to analyze key business drivers, then translate the findings in terms of financial impact to the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
  • Be impactful in identifying improvement areas and/or working on opportunities to improve processes, reporting or other similar financial operation areas.
  • Supporting projects that may include profit analysis, resource planning, build/buy scenarios, M&A, etc.

  • Travel Requirements

  • Travel up to 10%, including overnight travel

  • Required Education, Experience, Certifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytical field such as Finance, Economics or Math required; MBA, MSF or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a FP&A or similar analytical role.
  • Extensive financial modeling experience including with cash flow.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with ability to understand the "big picture" yet preserve a keen eye for details.
  • Ability to multitask and produce consistent positive results in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Hands on approach to problem-solving and digging into challenges.
  • Demonstrated relationship building skills with the ability to communicate with senior business leaders to anticipate, identify and solve issues as needed.
  • Self-starter motivated by identifying and improving or solving challenges.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Index/Match, etc).
  • Experience with a planning tool (e.g. Adaptive, Anaplan, etc) a plus.
  • Experience working within software or healthcare industries a plus.

  • The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $110,000-$120,000, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
