Knowledge Operations Writer
Overview:
As a Knowledge Operations Writer, your job is to take internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and turn them into simple and user-friendly articles. You’ll focus on making complex processes easy to understand, ensuring they hit the mark for all audience members involved. Your goal is to make sure everyone, whether it’s our internal teams or customers, gets the information they need in a format that’s clear, accurate, and aligned with what we do as a business.
Note: Even though this is a fully remote role, we are currently NOT recruiting in the USA for this position.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Breaking Down Complexity: You’ll be taking technical, sometimes complicated SOPs and turning them into articles that anyone can follow.
- Content Alignment: This means making sure every piece you write is useful and aligned with what matters most for our audiences and business targets. Internal and external content must match to prevent gaps.
- Collaboration & Feedback: You’ll work closely with product managers to ensure your content aligns with customer user journeys on new product feature launches.
- Quality Focus: Your role includes ensuring that everything you write meets internal quality standards and is continuously improved based on input from users and teams.
Who You Are:
- Problem Solver with Experience: You’ve been through some challenges when it comes to writing and repackaging complex ideas. Whether it’s navigating miscommunication or refining messy processes, you know how to push through and get things done.
- Tech-Savvy: You can handle technical documentation with ease. You don’t have to be a developer, but you get systems, and you’re comfortable explaining them clearly.
- Take Charge: A big value at our company is Extreme Ownership. When given a project, you own it completely. You don’t need anyone to check in constantly because you’re the type who gets it done and makes sure it’s done right.
- Big-Picture Thinker: You like to dive deep into your work. You don’t just solve the immediate problem you think through the best way to approach it from the ground up, making sure your solutions fit the bigger picture.
