The Role

We're on the hunt for a dynamic Jr. AE, ready to unlock growth potential within our Enterprise clientbase. We've signed some of the top brands in the world and aim to extend the value they're seeing from Ceros throughout the organization. Primarily, this position works with and supports the Account Executive team in identifying and qualifying expansion opportunities. This is done predominantly through cold calling, email, LinkedIn messaging, and video outreach, along with a variety of other tactics. Jr. AEs work to set up meetings between qualified prospects and our Account Executives, with the ultimate goal of converting these leads into users of the Ceros Suite. Jr. AEs are evaluated based on the number of qualified meetings they schedule each month. 

During their tenure as Jr. AEs, individuals gain a deep understanding of Ceros' product, our industry, competitors, customer stories, and current events that may impact our business. Training for Jr. AEs is designed to aid their career path into positions within Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and/or Partnerships,

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified sales leads and achieving monthly/quarterly quotas.
  • Utilize a variety of AI-driven sales tools, demonstrating flexibility and innovation in your approach. Your strong grasp of various technologies and their cross-functional applications will be critical, as quick and efficient adaptation to new technologies is a must.
  • Generate qualified meetings with potential buyers via phone, LinkedIn, email outreach, and other lead generation tools (e.g. Hubspot, Salesloft, Gong, Sales Navigator).
  • Coordinate meetings with sales executives, and log all activities in our Hubspot CRM.
  • Ability to strategically map accounts, leverage 10K and Annual Report research for effective targeting of new growth opportunities at top tier accounts.
  • Master internal processes and systems (Hubspot, Metabase, Salesloft, Gong). 
  • Have an in-depth understanding of Ceros ROI within specific industries and marketing personas. Communicate that effectively to potential clients.
  • Build credibility through an in-depth understanding of a client’s business, organization, external environment, and industry.
  • Maintain full fluency in Ceros’ products and services and how they are sold to deliver value in the marketplace.

Practical stuff we anticipate you having

  • General sales experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Some understanding of the sales process, from marketing through prospecting, cold calling, generating interest, and handing off to sales
  • Ability to write coherent emails, and willingness to make 2-3 hours of cold calls a day
  • Ability to articulate unique value propositions and persuade prospects
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with C-suite and VP-level executives and decision-makers
  • Ability to work in a changing environment with an ever-evolving product
  • Passionate about start-up culture and impacting the company
