The Role:
Carrot is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer with an expert-level endpoint/MDM skillset to join our Corp Eng team. This role will define the mobile device management standards for our endpoint fleets, ensuring that they’re frictionless for our users, easy for IT to manage, and secure from threats. We use best-of-breed tools to get the job done, some of which you’ll need to write yourself.
What we’re looking for:
- Expert-level skillset with leading client configuration management tools such as JAMF and Intune
- Strong automation and coding skills, leveraging custom code and APIs in a CI/CD environment
- Very strong with Mac and Windows systems internals, including deployment, packaging, custom development, security, policy enforcement
- Experience building out call center computing environments using VDI-managed browsers, and other modern solutions
- Deep experience with all components of a zero-trust stack
- Strong with IaaS platforms, specifically AWS and GCP
- Experience designing and deploying asset and inventory management for a fleet of endpoints at scale
- Experienced with directory services and common integrations such as Okta
- Bent on delivering a seamless user experience
- Track record of strong security partnerships and current knowledge of the security landscape
What you’ll do:
- Bootstrap the engineering practice for our growing client endpoint fleet, which includes Mac, PC, iOS, Android, ChromeOS

Scale our global call center operations by leveraging the latest remote computing tools

Lead our adoption of modern best practices for client platform engineering, including infrastructure as code and Zero Trust

Ensure that our client endpoints are always encrypted, protected, easy to update, easy to inventory, and easy to use

Delight our users by ensuring that devices arrive ready to use out of the box
- Design and build best-of-breed vulnerability management

Work with the broader IT team to provide training, documentation, and learning opportunities

Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Security, Comms, and Legal
Compensation:
Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $130,000.00- $200,000.00. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
