Pine Gate Renewables is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our growing Technology team. The IT Support Specialist will provide outstanding customer support to our user community, assisting with technology problems ranging from account and workstation setup to troubleshooting.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide on-premise & remote end-user support, troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems on-site and remotely.
- Track and manage service requests via email, phone, or in-person.
- Install, customize, and test hardware and software.
- Maintain inventory of all company hardware and software through cloud management systems.
- Create and maintain user training and help documentation.
- Provide presentation support, including audio/visual equipment.
- Set up and support mobile devices remotely.
- Prioritize, track, analyze, and report on service requests and tickets.
- Coordinate technical activities for users.
- Provide customer support to Pine Gate Renewable employees.
- Order, maintain and ship electronic equipment.
Must-Haves
- 2 or more years’ experience in IT support preferred.
- Proven experience providing high-quality technical support and customer service to end-users in various environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience managing and responding to technical incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing downtime.
- Expertise in diagnosing and repairing hardware malfunctions, including workstations, laptops, printers, and other equipment.
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, ensuring smooth functioning of software and minimizing disruptions to business processes.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field preferred.
