What you’ll do:
- You will define end-to-end strategy, define the roadmap and drive execution across multiple product teams for Pinterest’s enterprise Collaboration and Productivity tools.
- You possess a mix of technical strength, business strength, and the ability to navigate stakeholders across different business area and have experience building cross-functional relationships across engineering and business peers to ensure objectives are well defined and clearly understood.
- You are able to navigate working at the strategic level (e.g. generating innovative ideas for growth, establishing KPI’s, leading through change management) and at the tactical level (e.g. analyzing data, solving problems, being a force multiplier.
- You will partner with the strategic product leader to produce a detailed product roadmap and convert it into functional work.
- You will partner with business leaders to understand business needs and priorities, ensure the IT team is enabling and driving growth and achieving appropriate service levels.
- You will develop and maintain a vision and corresponding KPI’s that make a compelling case for continued investment. Preparing budgets, allocating resources, and delegating tasks.
- You will own, prioritize, communicate, and evangelize product roadmap across IT and business stakeholders.
- You will engage the business to identify their needs and spot opportunities to build features that increase engagement and delight.
- You will communicate strategy, priorities and consistent product messaging to stakeholders and users.
- You will ensure that product directions balance both the user needs and business goals of driving sales, improving productivity, and enhancing the employee experience.
- You will build and maintain strong working relationships with various internal stakeholder groups, including IT, Engineering, and Business.
- You will be responsible for vendor relationships by managing contract renewals and ensuring we are getting the expected value.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7+ years product management experience with minimum 2+ years in a product role in a global organization.
- Preferential consideration given to those with strong expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) technologies, along with a solid understanding of global and regional processes and workflows.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural and cross-functional environments.
- Nimble to deliver for stakeholders: You know how to navigate hurdles and stay focused on great customer experience.
- Proficiency in guiding and managing several teams focused on product development, with a high level of comfort in steering multiple roadmaps.
- Ability to coach and role model product management best practices across the organization.
- A natural decision-maker who inspires the confidence of those they work with.
- Has the ability to present their case with confidence.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Outcome oriented: You focus on delivering outcomes compared to outputs by leveraging technology to positively impact key business performance metrics
