What You’ll Do:
- Maintain employee computer systems and ensure devices and systems are running smoothly to ensure users get the maximum benefit
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Provide in person customer support to employees. Also have ability to provide support via phone and via remote desktop software (helping staff and clients set up systems and resolve issues)
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware and software issues
- Replace faulty parts as required
- Support the roll-out of new applications
- Set up new users' accounts and handle password issues
- Work continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Prioritize and manage all open IT cases
- Establish a good working relationship with employees, clients and 3rd party vendors
- Test and evaluate new technology
- Conduct electrical safety checks on computer equipment.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience in an IT Support role
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science
- Knowledge of how software and operating systems work for PC and Mac computers
- Experience setting up software and hardware systems while managing a low cost budget
- Strong communicator, able to work cross functionally with confidence while supporting employees
- Creative problem solver – able to identify problems related to IT and create solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Subject Matter Expert in all IT related matters
This position requires in office presence at our Pune, India office.
